Pedaling for Blooms: Planting 500 Daffodils in Our Community Garden

St Nicholas Miracle Community Garden joined New Yorkers for Parks’ Daffodil Project this fall, receiving 500 daffodil bulbs to honor New York City’s resilience. I biked with a rear trailer to pick up the bulbs with a bag full of planting potential.

Once delivered, volunteers planted the bulbs around the garden, preparing for a spring burst of beautiful yellow blooms. These daffodils symbolize hope, renewal, and community—transforming our garden into a bright, welcoming space for all.

We’re planting seeds of connection and beauty thanks to New Yorkers for Parks and our dedicated volunteers. Stop by in the spring to enjoy the blooms and be part of the magic!
