What You’ll Do:

As a Software Engineer Intern, your role will focus on front-end and back-end development to support our mission of promoting healthy eating, agriculture, and community development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining mobile and web applications that support agricultural initiatives and community services.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement user-friendly interfaces using React, Figma, and JavaScript.
  • Integrate APIs to enhance app functionality and improve user experience.
  • Research industry best practices and explore new features to optimize our apps.
  • Contribute to testing, debugging, and performance tuning of web applications.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new features and improvements.
  • Work with version control systems like GitHub to manage code and collaborate with team members.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Next.js, ReactJS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with API integration, Git/GitHub, VS Code, and version control workflows.
  • Experience with WordPress for content management is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools like Figma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
