What You’ll Do
As a Marketing & Website Development Intern, you’ll support our outreach efforts by enhancing UBHP’s digital presence. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating in-person (hybrid) at our NYC coworking space to exchange ideas and drive initiatives forward.
- Creating and scheduling engaging social media content to raise awareness of our mission.
- Assisting with website updates, design improvements, and content management.
- Developing digital marketing materials, newsletters, and campaign strategies.
- Supporting branding initiatives and ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Analyzing social media and website data to assess engagement and identify growth opportunities.
What You’ll Have
- A passion for agriculture, community service, or mission-driven work, with a genuine interest in supporting positive social impact.
- Self-driven and able to independently learn and apply new skills using study tools and resources.
- Experience using Slack for team communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrated reliability, commitment, and follow-through on projects and tasks.
- Experience or interest in marketing, digital communications, or website development.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within team settings to achieve shared goals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and see tasks through to completion.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate new digital tools and platforms.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail—you take pride in your contributions.
- Comfortable in people-facing roles and eager to engage with the community to further our mission.
- Openness to learning new software, tools, and techniques related to marketing and web development.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, focusing on meeting deadlines.
